⚾ The Elevator Pitch:
Today, there’s a huge issue in the American healthcare system - the system is becoming more of a monopoly controlled by various insurance companies. Hospitals today are more focused on acute care or treating people only when they feel sick (reactive) and doctors are financially incentivized to have patients walk through hospital doors as frequently as possible.
Parsley Health understands this problem and follows a different approach, they are focused on the source rather than the symptom. Parsley offers a membership service that allows patients to work directly with world-class doctors and researchers to find the root cause of their medical issue to ultimately find find a long-term health improvement.

🔍 Why we like it
🤗 No more convoluted insurance codes; one simple membership
What makes Parsley health special is its ability to create a dynamic, easy-to-follow ecosystem for its patients. To start, patients have to fill out a sign-up survey that will help capture their past procedures, lifestyle, family health history, and more. The patients then schedules their meetup with a personal physician (i.e. which is a 75 minutes telehealth call to gather additional information). The doctor will then advise the patient on a health plan, including health coaching and nutritional advice referred by specialists. One year of membership plan includes 5 visits to the doctor and 5 virtual sessions.
