You look like youโre due for a haircut. Todayโs startup BarberGPT uses AI to reimagine your hair.
โพ The Elevator Pitch
In 2020 alone, 59 million Americans had 4 or more haircuts. How many of those haircuts truly look good? We canโt say. The issue is most people stick with a hairstyle because they canโt imagine themselves with any other haircut. That is until BarberGPT.
Simply upload a picture of yourself and transform your hair into a variety of styles that they offer. BarberGPT aims to break into hair salons and barbershops space โ adding an extra tool kit to the barber bag. Instead of antiquated haircut brochures or vaguely explaining the hairstyle you want, BarberGPT lets customers directly visualize the haircut they want.

๐ Why we like it
๐ Hairy business, merry business
The hair salon and barber industry is a whopping $50B in the US alone. Simply put, Americans care how their hair look and are willing to spend money to make it look good. Even if BarberGPT taps into a small portion of this market, they can prove to be lucrative and impactful.
๐ฆพ Unconventional AI angle
While most current AI efforts are focused on solving the same 3 problems, BarberGPT is a more fun laidback application of generative AI. Their playful approach is also their strength. Generative AI has the potential to disrupt industries that we havenโt thought of before โ haircare being one of them. Weโre excited to see where they go with their hair-generating application.

They should at least let users generate a free hair style then ask them to login if they want to download it or do any other thing.
I literally closed the app as soon as I faced the sign in before even trying it. Just a suggestion, let user have a taste then ask for their info.
